Easy To Grow Perennials For The Northeast

Location of your garden must be considered in your choice of plants as well. Low spots in valleys are prone to frost action. This is usually due to little air motion. Locations near large bodies of water may have a late spring but a longer growing season in the fall. Very hot summer climates limit the kinds of flowers that may be grown. Also note that successful gardening requires good soil and good soil preparation.
